Lauren Thomsen, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
Lauren Thomsen is a registered architect in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, and a LEED accredited professional. As Principal at Lauren Thomsen Design, she spearheads design and oversees all projects in the office. She has extensive experience delivering complex historic renovations, adaptive reuse and new construction projects and understands approvals processes in Philadelphia and surrounding municipalities. Prior to founding LTD, she worked on a wide range of project types and scales at Neil Pelone Architecture and EYP Architecture and Engineering, and was named EYP's young designer of the year in 2014. Lauren has served as adjunct faculty at Temple University, Thomas Jefferson University (previously PhilaU), and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, her alma mater. She is NCARB certified and a member of the AIA.
Matthew Gindlesparger, RA, CPHC
Matt Gindlesparger is a registered architect in Pennsylvania, a Certified Passive House Consultant and Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Thomas Jefferson University. Matt looks at architecture through the lens of people, materials, performative assemblies and systems. As Technical Director at LTD, Matt uses his expertise in the identification and resolution of complex conditions within the built environment, driven by client needs, project requirements, constructability, and the need for longevity of our buildings.
Matt has experience in the development and delivery of next generation building systems, moving ideas to application that improve the way people use buildings. Matt has developed and deployed building integrated biofiltration systems, energy harvesting façade systems, and has worked with a global AEC firm to develop a temporary reusable wall system that will help to re-clad buildings with failing facades.
Trevor Cordivari, CPHC
Trevor Cordivari is a Certified Passive House Consultant and has experience working on single and multi-family residential projects of all scales. He enjoys the challenge of balancing the conceptual directions of design with the technical considerations of performance and the historical context of Philadelphia.
Prior to joining LTD, Trevor was faculty member at the University of Arizona and worked for RAHarchitects and as a lighting designer at CLL-Concept Lighting Lab in Tucson.
Through a design-build studio during grad school he developed an appreciation for craft and has also worked as an architectural model designer and fabricator.
Ingrid Tripple, MS
Ingrid Tripple brings twenty years of experience in marketing, communications, and brand strategy to Lauren Thomsen Design. As Marketing Director, she plans and implements creative solutions to marketing needs ensuring LTD’s strengths are known and articulated authentically across all platforms. She listens eagerly to identify opportunities and responds thoughtfully as each project unfolds. Ingrid started her career in higher education where she managed strategic communication initiatives and marketing campaigns for the art school, medical school, and international affairs department at Temple University. She went on to work for two Philadelphia-based marketing agencies gaining expertise across multiple sectors including independent schools, healthcare, arts, advocacy, and technology. Having worked both in-house and on the agency side, Ingrid regularly incorporates her diverse experiences into marketing projects and challenges people to be open minded and to think differently.
